Double Your Website's Traffic in 30 Days

For the many millions of us who run websites we are all looking for ways to increase the flow of traffic. It could be to get more people to read what you have to write, but most of the time it is to sell products or services that you want others to buy.
You are in luck. There is one surefire way to increase the traffic to your website and the only thing it costs you is a little bit of your time everyday. Now before I tell you what this technique is, I must say that if you have a poorly designed, hard to navigate site, or sell products or services that do not appeal to a lot of people, you will still have a hard time getting visitors. So make sure your website is up to speed using at least some of today’s latest technologies, but most importantly, people who visit your site can move around on it without many problems.

The technique I am talking about that can help your website’s traffic out is called article marketing. Article marketing is the process by which you write an article that is informational and educational in relation to what your website is about and then you submit that article, complete with a link back to your website, to various article directories.

Your first step is to write an article that is related to your website. It should be information and educational so that the reader of the article takes something away from it. For instance you could write 10 tips on how to take good pictures, if your site is about cameras, or 5 best methods for using a table saw, or if you sell power tools or do something in construction or woodworking. You are article should be no less than 450 words. Less than that and people will not take it seriously enough since it is so short.

The second step is to create your resource box. A resource box is the information that lets the reader of the article know who wrote it and how they can get in touch with you. An example resource box would read, “John Gimms is the owner of Handy Dandy Tools. You can learn more about Handy Dandy by visiting their website at {insert your web address here}.” This example gives the reader all they need to know about who the writer is and if the reader needs more information or now, because of the article, wants to know more about Handy Dandy Tools, they can click on the web address.

The final step (I told you it was easy, and at 3 steps how could it not be), is to submit your new article masterpiece to various article directories. Article directories are specialized websites that allow writers, like you, to submit their articles for free. These sites receive tens of thousands of hits daily from people looking for information that you wrote. Many will read the article directly on the article directory website and then click on your link right there, while others, who are looking for content for their site, will syndicate your article. What that means is they will take your article, resource box and all (so that includes your link), and post it on their own site, for their own visitors to read. So now not only are people clicking your website link from the directories but visitors to other sites where you article resides are now clicking it also.

Now all you have to do is go back to step one and start over everyday for as long as you run your website. One article per day is plenty. Anymore than that and you articles actually start competing against each other, and that is not necessarily a bad thing, but you want to get the most exposure from each article.

So there you have it. The best method of free advertising that you can implement and the only thing it will cost you is your time. Follow this on a daily basis and you will more than likely double the traffic to your website.

Market Your Web Business for Free

. Tuesday, March 17, 2009

Whether the economy is the worse crisis in nearly half a century or fundamentally sound, if you run a business, regardless if it is on the internet or a brick and mortar company, you are always looking for creative ways to cut costs that will positively affect your bottom line.
When it comes to running an business on the Internet through a website there is no quicker way to obtain access to millions of customers in a matter of seconds. The problem arises when trying to reach those customers and doing so at a reasonable cost.

Well you are in luck because there is one such technique that you can use to reach millions of potential customers and the only thing it will cost you is some time. By using what I am about to tell you, you can literally double the number of visitors to your website in as little as thirty days.

Let me say this before I tell you what this technique is. For starters if you sell items that are not in demand or ones that nobody wants or needs, the best marketing in the world will not help you. Secondly, if your website is poorly designed and hard for visitors to navigate and find things, they will leave faster then they came. So keep those two things in mind before you get started.

The technique I am talking about is called article marketing. What that means is you write an educational article that is closely related to what your business is selling, add a resource box to the end of the article so readers of that article can find your and your website, and then post the article to various article directories. I will get more into article directories in a moment.

The article you write must be educational and informational. In other words if you sell digital cameras, you should write articles that teach people what are the best options to look for, how to take better pictures and so on. Your article should be no less than 450 words and no more than 800 words. Too short and they will not take you seriously and too long and most people won’t read it.

At the end of your article you will add what is called a resource box. It’s not really a box that is just what it is called. In the resource box you will add a final statement that tells the reader who you are, why they think they should listen to what you wrote in the article and of course how they can get a hold of you if they need more information. For example a typical resource box would read, “Tom Jones is the owner of XYZ Digital Cameras, in Anywhere, USA. You can learn more from Tom by visiting his website at {insert your web address here}.” This kind of resource box gives the reader of your article everything they need if they want more information from you.

Ok, so you have this great article and resource box, but what do you do with it? Remember earlier I mentioned article directories? Article directories are websites set up for the sole purpose to help you market your business for free by allowing you to submit your article and resource box to their directory. These article directories receive tens of thousands of visitors daily. These visitors are looking for either information about something or content for their own website. Both scenarios are exactly what you are looking for and here is why.

In the first scenario a visitor logs on to an article directory looking for ten ways to take better pictures with a digital camera. They find your article and are so impressed at the professional information that they received from it that they investigate further into the resource box to find out who the writer is. From there they see that you own a website that sells digital cameras and accessories so they visit your website. So there you go you just received a potential customer and it didn’t cost you a dime.

In scenario number two, a visitor who owns a blog about digital cameras is looking for quality content. They use this content on their own website for their own visitors. They log into the article directories, find your article and then decide they would like to use your article on their site. Don’t worry they aren’t plagiarizing your work, what they are doing is called syndicating it. They take your article, with the resource box that contains a link to your website, and post it on their own website. So what has just happened? You just became a syndicated writer about digital cameras. So not only are the article directory visitors finding you (scenario one) but other people from around the internet are finding out about you on other websites and blogs as well (scenario two).

Now all you have to do is repeat this process on a daily basis and within 30 days you should have no problem doubling the amount of visitors to your website. As long as you have a decent product to offer, and well designed website and write an educational and/or informational article, you should have no problem succeeding with this technique.

Five Hot Tips For Finding Work At Home Jobs

.

There are at least five great tips for work at home workers. These are the hottest five for you to know when working at home.
When looking to either get into a work at home websites or job opportunity, there are plenty of things that you will need to know in order to be a success. Many of these tips are little more than common sense, but others are real gems in the rough. By using these five tips, you shouldn’t have any trouble finding the right opportunity for you.
Evaluate your talents

Although you might not think that this is important, it is actually more important than most people think. When dealing with a possible work at home job, sometimes people forget that cataloguing your talents and seeing where those fit in this type of situation can be a viable home job. Many talents can be marketable with little or no help or training. Most skill sets can also become a viable job. Even a hobby can turn into a lucrative career from home.

See which are viable This is where the rubber meets the road, so to speak. Once you have analyzed your talents, then you will need to see if they are truly viable or if they are not. Most work at home jobs don’t need any special training, while other do. By looking over the skills and talent list, you have a better idea of what will work and what won’t. This is an easier way to see what works and what doesn’t before you start your business.

Consider the market

When looking for a work at home position, you need to carefully consider the market. While this may not seem to be a big deal, certain job markets may be saturated with a deluge while others are bone dry. Do a little research into the particular opportunity or job that you are interested in. This will give you some idea of how popular or how limited it may be. You must also consider if this is something that you are good at, or love doing. It is a tragedy when you are working at something that you hate. What is the point of doing that?

Keep Your Faith in YOURSELF

This is a no brainer folks! With the current economic situations, it is sometimes hard to keep your faith in yourself when either starting out with a work at home position or if you are involved in one currently! Being yourself is pretty much the best way to keep not only your head on straight, but also to keep it together when things don’t go as planned. If you can keep your head when everyone is losing theirs, then you are one up on the competition.

Make a Business Plan

While this may sound a bit silly, the chances are that if you create a business plan, you will also have a better idea of the type of success or failure of the enterprise in question. By also having a business plan, if you need funding, you are more likely to get it than if you were going without one.

Supercharging Your Sales Copy

.

So you have run a couple of ads in the newspaper or your local community flyer, but haven't seen any significant results.... most small business owners, after one or two tries, make the mistake of thinking that it just isn't the right advertising method for them and stop advertising. What if "where" you are advertising isn't the problem, but "how" you are writing your ads is why you are not getting any results?

Let's face it, most small business owners are not experienced copy writers. Most small business owners have a tendency to talk about the features or keep selling points about our business, rather than talking about how it will impact or affect the customer. This is an easy way to turn off the reader, whether it is an ad, flyer, or the sales page on your website.

While the way the ad is written is very important, it won't mean anything without a strong head line that grabs the readers attention. Without a strong headline that draws them in and makes them want to read more, it won't really matter what your sales copy says. The key to a strong headline, is to utilize the most compelling feature or benefit about your business. Readers see hundreds, if not thousands, of ads every day (between the newspaper, tv, and internet), so it is important your headline leaves a memorable impression.

Once your headline grabs their attention, you need to have a strong opening. Within the first two sentences, the reader is going to decide whether he/she moves on or reads the rest of the copy. Back up the strong heading with an equally strong opening.

Now that you have the readers attention and they get through your sales copy, now what? This is where you need a call to action. Give them a reason to act now or a sense of urgency that they might miss out on something if they don't act immediately. Offering a limited time promotion, or incentive for contacting you will give them a reason for moving beyond the ad. This is a great time to tie a print ad into a website promotion or some other reason for them to learn more about your company or products.

Finally, the best way to get better conversions out of your ads or sales copy is to offer them a risk free guarantee. Even if it means giving them something that they can keep, even if they don't purchase anything or use your company, give them every reason possible to look into your business further. Depending on the product or service that you are offering, a money back guarantee is a great way to reassure customers. FORGIVE YOURSELF

.

I teach on forgivenesss a lot, and the power it has to heal. One of the more difficult things I run into, is peoeple having a hard time forgivening themselves. Many find it easier to forgive everyone esle. I find that this is do to the guilt that is buried in the mind. This nasty voice that attempts to keep you stuck in some insane illusion. How many times do you have to replay a mistake you made? That is all it is, just a mistake, and it does not make you mistaken. Search inside your heart, and see where you are holding yourself hostage to the ego, by not forgiving yourself. Forgive, and forget what you think you have done.

By forgiving yourself, you have stopped punishing, and hurting yourself. In some odd way some times we think if we keep beating ourselves up real good, than we escape GOD'S rath. This is a mere hidden thought that is within the deeper mind, and a total lie indeed. As I have studied the workings of the mind for over 28 years, it is unbelievable what has been programed in there. Your job is simply to be gentle, and forgive all that you think you did, and lay it down, once and for all. It serves NO purpose, and you are here to serve a higher purpose, and holding yourself hostage keeps you stuck in an illusion of fear. Be free, and forgive, and love deeply!

PLASTIC AND VINYL WRISTBANDS - AN EFFECTIVE MULTIFACETED TOOL

.

Wristbands are not anything new to companies, or their clients. Customers often even expect to wear a wristband when attending large concerts, or vacation resorts. Wristbands are one of the best products on the market that offer an admission control solution, customer identification and the most in-your-face advertising platform available

The latest technologies available for wristbands are what keep this product fresh, yet affordable. Wristband companies who produce a wide range of products from tear-resistant paper (Tyvek), plastic, vinyl and silicone wristbands, are now introducing additional features for heightened security. Taggant security labels are available to be applied to wristbands, commonly plastic and vinyl wristbands. Scanners (which are provided by wristband manufacturers) are then used by event staff to authenticate customer wristbands, which will only be recognized by the scanners if the wristband and Taggant have been legitimately produced by the wristband manufacturer.

Wristband use is growing exponentially as customers discover how invaluable these products are for their extreme versatility at various events and facilities. Wristband producers have to continually evolve their plastic and vinyl wristbands to realize basic customer needs and requests. One of the most popular wristband products types are stub wristbands (made of plastic, vinyl or Tyvek). These bands have detachable stubs that can be customized to offer customers a “free drink”, or “complimentary parking”. Some companies print stubs with matching barcodes or sequential numbering to use for contest draws and prizes during an event, ensuring the customer will keep their wristband on for the event’s duration. Other companies use print sponsorship advertising on the wristband, and use the plastic stubs as coupons or discount vouchers to invite guests to visit their sponsor’s locations after the event has commenced.

Whether wristbands are used to control admission, verify ticket purchase, identify customer groups or for promotional marketing needs, custom plastic and vinyl wristbands that are durable, waterproof and non-transferable seem to solution a lot of common event problems. Nearly every business type has one or more of these needs, and is looking to wristbands for original, cost-effective solutions.
